A strong social commitment.
Diversity and integration are core values for Embalsace.
For many years, we have made it a point of honor to promote diversity within our teams. This commitment is reflected in the active integration of workers with disabilities, reflecting our dedication to a more inclusive society.
An eco-responsible approach.
Respect for the environment is a priority for Embalsace. Our teams work daily to minimize our ecological impact.
With this in mind, we are committed to recycling and recovering the value of our waste, and are particularly proud of our initiative to recycle wood offcuts, which are transformed into original decorative objects for sale, and of the fact that some of our wood offcuts are recycled into pellets.
What’s more, the wood we use as a raw material is sourced from a short supply chain and benefits from
PEFC
.
About the PEFC label: The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes (PEFC) is a global initiative to guarantee that wood comes from sustainably managed forests. This certification illustrates the company’s commitment to responsible forest management, while ensuring the traceability of wood from the forest to the consumer.
Preserving biodiversity.
We participate in initiatives to preserve biodiversity, notably by supporting the Syndicat des Apiculteurs du Canton de Cernay through the sponsorship of beehives on our site.
Wooden packaging: A choice for the future.
Wood is much more than just a raw material for us: it’s a resolutely forward-looking choice.
The wooden crate has a negative carbon footprint, positioning it as a sustainable, environmentally-friendly packaging solution.
According to SEILA, producing 1m² of industrial wooden crate exteriors offsets the carbon equivalent of a car journey of around 52km.
At Embalsace, we’re proud to contribute to such a positive approach for our planet.
